Generating music
I recently developed a way to encode music so that machine learning (RNN, specifically) is able to use it. It has come up with lots of very unconventional music out of the box. Below are the first things that even remotely make sense, though.
Training with some music from J.S. Bach
The training set consists of 8 pieces from BWV 1001–1006 and BWV 1007-1012. One can clearly hear some bits that have seeped through 1:1, probably because of the very small size of the training set.
